Crypto-coin exchange Kraken announced on Wednesday that it will begin trading Bitcoin and Litecoin in the US, Europe and other markets on Monday.
Kraken, the first Bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchange to be listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange, will allow customers to buy and sell cryptocurrencies at a fraction of their current exchange rates.
Kraken will allow for trading at the same exchange rates as it currently does for Bitcoin, and will allow its customers to trade in and out of cryptocurrencies at the speed of the trading market.
Kraken’s announcement comes as more and more exchanges and brokers are starting to offer Bitcoin-based trading platforms and services.
Kraken joins Coinbase and Bitfinex in offering Bitcoin-related services to users.
Kraken is one of several Bitcoin exchanges and brokerages that have announced plans to start trading in the United States.
Bitfinexs Bitcoin futures exchange will begin its first trading session on Monday, February 1.
BitFlyer, the largest Bitcoin exchange in the world, will launch a Bitcoin futures contract on Monday with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
BitFlyers Bitcoin futures contracts will begin at $0.00 per unit on Monday and will remain open until the futures contract is fully settled.
